Unraid OS 7.1.4 Now Available
This release improves network stability, VM interface handling, and Docker, and storage behavior.
We’re happy to announce the release of Unraid OS 7.1.4, a maintenance update that focuses on networking issues and bug fixes to optimize the user experience.
Key Improvements
- Networking: Improved network stability by fixing default route handling, preventing accidental route deletion, and reverting a recent metric change.
- Docker: Smarter IP address display and broader Docker network range support.
- VMS: Resolved custom bridge and MAC assignment issues.
- Storage: Autotrim settings are now properly applied when mounting BTRFS and XFS drives, and users can no longer change compression or autotrim settings on active pools—preventing conflicts and maintaining system stability
- WebGUI: Fixed icon display, improved file move behavior, and protected pool settings.

Networking
- Fix: Reverted: Improved automatic metric assignments
- Fix: Prevent the interface monitoring script from deleting the default route
- Fix: Ensure disabled default routes are not used
Docker
- Fix: Don't limit Docker subnets to /25
- Fix: Don't show APIPA IP when a better one is available
VMs
- Fix: Custom virbr interfaces missing
- Fix: MAC assignment was regenerated each time a different interface was selected
Storage
- Fix: Respect Autotrim setting when mounting BTRFS and XFS drives
webGUI
- Fix: File manager: fixed missing icon in footer when job is minimized
- Fix: File manager: respect Overwrite existing files setting when moving files
- Fix: Prevent changing pool Compression/Autotrim settings when the array is started
